Shelly Duncan, 34, of Kilcarrig Crescent, Tallaght, pleaded guilty to having no insurance, no driving licence and failing to produce her insurance certificate at Kilcarrig Crescent on 30^th January 2011. 

Garda Michael Groarke told Judge Victor Blake that on the above date he stopped Duncan and asked her to produce her driving licence and insurance certificate at a Garda station of her choice within 10 days. Duncan failed to produce the documents.

Duncan’s solicitor asked Judge Blake not to impose a disqualification as she had bought the car for €400 with a view to selling it on. Judge Blake fined Duncan €500 and imposed a two year ban for driving uninsured, €150 for having no licence and €100 for failing to produce her insurance certificate.
