Fine for Cocaine

AN APPRENTICE who was caught with €70 of cocaine has been fined €1200.
Karl Walsh aged 21 with an address at Glenshane Crescent, Tallaght, pleaded guilty to simple possession of cocaine at Cushlawn Park in Tallaght on October 20, 2011.
Detective Garda Mary Enneguess told Judge John Coughlan that she found Walsh in possession of €70 worth of cocaine. She said Walsh had no previous convictions. Walsh’s Solicitor Michael Hennessey said his client was an apprentice. Convicting Judge Coughlan fined Walsh €1200
